The beating heart of our family

Simona, Edmondo, and Luigia: we are three siblings united not only by the bond of blood but also by a deep passion for the land we have inherited. Growing up amidst the wonders of Cilento, we learned to breathe, appreciate, and cherish what nature offers: the good, the beautiful, and the healthy.

The story of La Petrosa began in the 1950s when our grandparents, with vision and determination, purchased a charming 19th-century castle and its surrounding lands. That dream, nurtured with sacrifice, love, and passion, has given rise to what we are proud to present to you today.

We fondly remember our childhood spent drinking the fresh milk from our cows and enjoying bread made from ancient grains. In the 1980s, the business passed into the hands of our parents, Giulio Cesare and Gianfranca, who successfully kept the tradition alive while enriching it with new visions and ideals.

Today, as ambassadors of Cilento and champions of organic and regenerative agriculture, we carry forward this heritage. And while we look to the future, we never forget our roots, as they represent the strength and essence of La Petrosa.

Farmstead

The true essence of La Petrosa lies in the respect for the soil we walk on every day, the lands we cultivate, and what we produce with love and dedication. Every product we offer is the result of careful work, respectful of the environment, and faithful to the principles of Organic and Regenerative Agriculture.

From our fields, ancient grains ripen, which we transform into delicious flours, pasta, bread, sweets, and savory baked goods. Surrounded by the enchanting remains of a Roman Aqueduct, our 1,700 olive trees yield a distinctive and robust Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
